Ricardo Quantaye Lockette (* 21st May 1986 in Albany , Georgia ) is a former American American football player at the position of wide receiver . He played for the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL) and won Super Bowl XLVIII with them .

NFL

Seattle Seahawks

Lockette was signed as a free agent by the Seattle Seahawks in 2011 . He was released on September 3rd and enlisted in the Practice Squad the following day . On December 14, 2011, Lockette was named to the main squad for the Seattle Seahawks. After the 2012 preseason , Lockette was dismissed from the main squad and taken back under contract for the Practice Squad, but was dismissed on September 18, 2012.

San Francisco 49ers

Lockette was hired on September 24, 2012 for the Practice Squad of the San Francisco 49ers. On August 22, 2013, he was released to make way for a new signing, quarterback Seneca Wallace .

Chicago Bears

Return to the Seahawks

Lockette returned to the Seahawks on October 22, 2013. There he was used in the special teams . Lockette won Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seahawks on February 2, 2014, where he caught a 19-yard pass.
