Christine Lynn Michael ([ 'krɪstɪn maɪkəl ] * 9. November 1990 ) is an American American football poker players. He last played as running back for the Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League (NFL).
NFL
Seattle Seahawks (1st period)
Michael was selected in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft as the 62nd player by the Seattle Seahawks . During his time with the Seahawks, he was used only to a limited extent, as he could not prevail against the running backs Marshawn Lynch or Robert Turbin . After signing running back Fred Jackson , Michael was traded to the Dallas Cowboys for a seventh round pick on September 6, 2015 .
Dallas Cowboys
After DeMarco Murray left , the Dallas Cowboys signed Michael to improve their running back situation. In the first three games of the season he was not yet active, but during Bye Week the coaches discussed whether he should get the starter position . However, he ended up only becoming a substitute. On November 17, 2015, the cowboys released Michael to make room for running back Robert Turbin .
Washington Redskins
On November 19, 2015, the Washington Redskins signed Michael into their practice squad . He was released on December 15, 2015.
Seattle Seahawks (2nd period)
On December 16, 2015, the Seattle Seahawks signed Michael again after running backs Marshawn Lynch and Thomas Rawls were injured. After his contract expired after the 2015 season , he was signed up again on March 17, 2016. When Rawls was out with an injury at the beginning of the 2016 season, Michael became a starter and he scored his first two NFL touchdowns on matchday three against the San Francisco 49ers . On November 15, 2016, he was released from the Seattle Seahawks again.
Green Bay Packers
Michael was signed by the Green Bay Packers on November 16, 2016, just one day after his release from the Seattle Seahawks . After the Packers selected three new running backs in the 2017 NFL Draft, he was fired on May 1, 2017.
Indianapolis Colts
On June 1, 2017, Michael was signed by the Indianapolis Colts. Due to a training injury, he was placed on the Injured Reserve List on June 17, 2017 . On March 21, 2018, he received a new one-year contract from the Colts. Michael was released on September 24, 2018.
Private life
Michael received the first name "Christine" (pronounced: Chris-Tinn) from his mother, which is unusual for a man. The reason for this was that his mother was counting on a girl during the pregnancy and saw no reason to switch to a male version of the first name after the birth.
