Klitschka ( Russian Кли́чка ) is an urban-type settlement in the Transbaikalia region in Russia with 1786 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).
geography
The place is about 360 km as the crow flies southeast of the regional capital Chita and 40 km north of Krasnokamensk in the area of the 1200 m high Klitschka ridge (Klitschkinski chrebet). It is located a few kilometers from the left bank of the Argun tributary Uruljungui .
Klitschka belongs to the Priargunsk district and is located about 80 km west of its administrative center Priargunsk . It is the seat and only locality of the municipality of Klitschkinskoje gorodskoje posselenije. The settlement consists of two districts about 3 km apart: the northern Klitschka-1 and the southern Klitschka-2.
history
The place already existed in the 19th century. In connection with the construction of a lead and zinc ore mine , Klitschka received urban-type settlement status in 1952.
In 1994 the mine and the associated enrichment factory were closed; fluorspar is still being mined nearby .

8 km southwest of Klitschka is the Marguzek railway station on the Charanor - Priargunsk line, which was initially built as a narrow-gauge railway ( 750 mm gauge ) in the early 1950s and converted to Russian broad-gauge in the early 1970s .
Road connection is north over the regional road 76K-006 km to 46 remote Sawwo-Borzya at 76A-011 (formerly R430), the Borzya on the highway A350 with Iwanowka at Nerchinsky Zavod connects. In an easterly direction, the 76K-113 leads towards Priargunsk.
