Alone among boys (original title: Life with Boys ) is a Canadian television series for teenagers that started on September 9, 2011 in Canada on YTV . In Germany it was broadcast for the first time on February 20, 2012 on Nickelodeon .

The title Alone Among Boys refers to the protagonist Tess Foster, played by Torri Webster . At home only her father and three brothers live next to her. She is also the only girl on her wrestling team at school. The only change is her best friend Allie.

Alone Among Boys was renewed for a second season, the production of which began on September 4, 2012 in Toronto . It aired from October 23, 2012 to August 27, 2013.

Leading roles

Tess Foster ( Torri Webster ), actually Tessa Foster, is a student and at the beginning of the series 14 years old. She is the only girl who lives with her father and three brothers. She fights on the school's wrestling team.

Allie Brooks ( Madison Pettis ) is Tess' best friend. She is a cheerleader, loves shopping, makeup and everything girlish. She's a regular with the Fosters and doesn't understand how Tess is getting on with all the boys in the house.

Gabe Foster (Nathan McLeod) is Tess' oldest brother. He is 16 years old and a typical crush who often goes out with more than one girl at the same time.

Sam Foster (Michael Murphy) is Tess' twin brother. He's not very successful with the opposite sex, and he has a crush on Allie.

Spencer Foster (Jake Goodman) is 8 years old and Tess' youngest brother. He admires Gabe and always asks his advice.

Jack Foster (Sandy Jobin-Bevans) is the single father of Tess, Gabe, Sam and Spencer. He is also the sports teacher for the wrestling team. His wife died before the series began.

Supporting roles

Bobby Parelli (John-Alan Slachta) is a wrestling champion and opponent of Tess. He first goes out with Allie and then with Tess, but breaks up with them again.

Nicholas "Nicky" Demoppulus (Daniel Winston), by everyone just called Nerdy Nicky , is a friend of Sam and a typical nerd .

Kaylee (Francesca Martin) is Tess' archenemy. She goes to the same school and is the captain of the cheerleaders, which includes Allie.

Andy Jacobs (Austin Macdonald) is the head of the wrestling team.

Walter is the Foster's dog. He can already go to the toilet on his own.

Chloe and Zoe are two friends who have fallen out. So Chloe (Madison Scott) becomes Tess and Allie's new girlfriend.
