List of Bismarck monuments outside Germany
The list of Bismarck monuments outside Germany includes the Bismarck monuments outside Germany.
introduction
Bismarck monuments have been erected since 1868 in honor of the long-standing Prussian Prime Minister and first German Chancellor Otto von Bismarck in many places, not only in Germany. During the First World War, German soldiers erected Bismarck memorial stones in France (Bouillonville) and Poland (Czermno) on the occasion of Bismarck's 100th birthday in 1915. With the Bismarck monuments, a visible and permanent expression of Bismarck worship or the Bismarck cult in the empire emerged. The size and complexity of the realized monuments range from memorial plaques to extensive systems with several groups of figures, such as the Bismarck National Monument in Berlin. Bismarck towers with fire bowls and / or observation towers, bronze and stone busts and statues monuments, fountains, memorial stones and tree plantings (originally from the Sachsenwald ) were also built.
