Mojo Alcantara is located 80 km southwest of Messina on the northern slope of Mount Etna . The inhabitants are mainly engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry.

history

The town hall

The place was founded in the first half of the 16th century. From 1928 to 1947, Mojo Alcantara and Malvagna formed the municipality of Lanza.
