history

Since 1188, the Casale S. Philippi has been the property of a royal chaplain, Magister Benedikt, whose disputes with Bishop Stephan von Patti and his Casale S. Lucia were settled by a settlement that King Wilhelm II notarized, and which for the Bishop was associated with considerable costs.
