Novara di Sicilia is an Italian municipality in the metropolitan city of Messina in the autonomous region of Sicily with 1251 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) is a member of the association I borghi più belli d'Italia (The Most Beautiful Places in Italy).
Location and dates
Novara di Sicilia is 68 km southwest of Messina . The residents mainly work in agriculture and handicrafts.

history
Remnants of prehistoric settlements have been found in the area of Novara di Sicilia, and many prehistoric finds also come from the Riparo della Sperlinga cave. The current place is of Norman origin.
