Neporadza is a municipality in the north- west of Slovakia with 812 inhabitants (December 31, 2019) and is part of the Trenčín District , part of the kraj Trenčiansky .

geography

The municipality is located in the northernmost part of the Nitrianska pahorkatina and thus also the Slovakian Danube lowlands at the foot of the Strážovské vrchy Mountains . The Svinica flows right through the village, followed by the Svitavský potok on the eastern edge of the village . The center of the village lies at an altitude of 293  m nm and is 16 kilometers from Bánovce nad Bebravou and 20 kilometers from Trenčín .

Neighboring communities are Trenčín ( Kubrica district ) in the north, Motešice in the north-east and east, very briefly Bobot in the south-east, Svinná in the south, Trenčianske Mitice in the west and Soblahov in the north-west.

history

Today's community was established in 1960 through the merger of Bošianska Neporadza (until 1927 "Bošanská Neporádza"; Hungarian Bosányneprőd - until 1907 Bossanneporác ) and Rožňová Neporadza (until 1927 "Rožnová Neporádza"; Hungarian Rozsonynepor7 Rozson ) - until 1907 .

The originally some place was first mentioned in writing in 1269 as Peparaz and was first part of the territory of Trenčín Castle . After the death of the oligarch Matthäus Csák in 1321, part of it became the property of the noble Bossányi family , the other part was later named after the long-time owners from the Rozsony family

In 1828 there were 30 houses and 345 inhabitants in Bošianska Neporadza, and 15 houses and 226 inhabitants in Rožňová Neporadza. Agriculture was the main source of income in both places.

Until 1918, the places in Trenčín County belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary and then came to Czechoslovakia or now Slovakia.

According to the 2011 census, there were 783 residents in Neporadza, 754 of whom were Slovaks and one Moravian and one Pole . One resident indicated a different ethnic group and 26 residents gave no information about the ethnic group .

681 residents supported the Roman Catholic Church, as well as one resident each for the Baha'itum, the Evangelical Church AB, the Orthodox Church and the Czechoslovak Hussite Church; one resident professed a different denomination. 37 inhabitants were without a denomination and the denomination of 60 inhabitants was not determined.
