Horní Libchava (German Oberliebich , railway authority Ober Liebich ) is a municipality of the Okres Česká Lípa in the Liberec region in the north of the Czech Republic on the eastern slope of the Bohemian Uplands . It is located in the valley of the Libchava and Šporka brooks , about 5 kilometers northwest of Česká Lípa (Bohemian Leipa) .

In the village there is the Baroque church of St. James the Great from 1736 and a Renaissance castle from the 16th century. The Klinštejn Castle used to stand on the nearby Vinný vrch (vineyard ) . From the middle of the 19th century, the municipality belonged to the judicial district of Böhmisch Leipa or the district of Böhmisch Leipa .
