Palestyna [ palɛsˈtɨna ] is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . He belongs to the Gmina Mrągowo ( rural community Sensburg ) in the powiat Mrągowski (district Sensburg ).
Palestyna is located in the heart of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , 14 kilometers north of the district town of Mrągowo ( German Sensburg ).
There is no evidence of the origin and history of the small town, nor is there a German place name from before 1945. Today, Palestyna is included in the village of Gronowo (Grunau) and thus part of Gmina Mrągowo in the Powiat Mrągowski .
Ecclesiastically, Palestyna is incorporated into the Catholic parish Wilkowo (Wilkendorf) in the Archdiocese of Warmia and the Protestant parish Mrągowo (Sensburg) in the Masurian diocese of the Evangelical Augsburg Church in Poland .
In terms of traffic, Palestyna is conveniently located on a side road that connects Wilkowo , located in Gmina Kętrzyn (rural community Rastenburg ), with Słabowo (Slabowen , Langenwiese from 1928 to 1945 ) , which is not far from Polish state road 59 (former German Reichsstrasse 140 ) and is already part of the rural community Ryn (Rhine) heard. There is no train connection.
