Ransomware Halloway
Ransom Halloway (born around 1793 in Beekman , New York , † April 6, 1851 in Mount Pleasant , New York) was an American politician . Between 1849 and 1851 he represented New York State in the US House of Representatives .
Career
Ransom Halloway was born in Beekman in the late 18th century. He worked in agriculture. In 1818 he was paymaster in a brigade of the New York National Guard . Politically, he was a member of the Whig Party . In the congressional elections of 1848 he was elected in the eighth constituency of New York to the US House of Representatives in Washington, DC , where he succeeded Cornelius Warren on March 4, 1849 . He retired from the after March 3, 1851 Congress of. He died on April 6, 1851 in Mount Pleasant.
