Reesdorf (until 1930 Räsdorf) is a village and a district of Möckern in the district of Jerichower Land in Saxony-Anhalt .

Reesdorf is about 18 km south of Genthin .

history

Reesdorf was first mentioned in documents in 1420.

January 17, 1930 "Räsdorf" was renamed Reesdorf.

The formerly independent community was incorporated into Möckern on July 2, 2009.

Blazon : "Two green fir trees growing in gold from a green shield base covered with a gold crown, two shields between the tree tops, in the upper one a gold-armored red eagle in silver, the lower red divided over silver."

The coat of arms was designed by the municipal heraldist Jörg Mantzsch .
