Reinhard Glemnitz
Reinhard Glemnitz (born November 27, 1930 in Breslau ) is a German actor and voice actor .
biography
After training to be an actor at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich (1946/47), Glemnitz played his beginners' years mainly with cabaret : “Die Kabarettiche” in Cologne and guest performances by the “ Kleine Freiheit ” studio in Zurich and Vienna . In 1948 he started as a speaker for Bavarian Broadcasting . His first film role followed in 1954 with 08/15 . In addition to The Story of Joel Brand (1964) with Herwig Walter , it was one of his few “uniform roles”. The following year he played in Carnival Monday and 1960 in My school friend of Robert Siodmak . From 1956 to 1958 he was on stage in Wuppertal , after which he had further engagements at the Bavarian State Theater in Munich until 1961 . Various appearances in film and television followed, including the Durbridge three-part series The Keys , the spy series The Fifth Column , The Crime Museum , and the science fiction cult series Raumpatrouille as well as the productions The Millionaire Farmer , Police Inspection 1 , The Wannsee Conference , SOKO 5113 , Das Dream ship , derrick , white-blue stories , Anna Maria and Kanal fatal .
He played his best-known role as Inspector Robert Heine from 1968 to 1975 in the successful ZDF crime series Der Kommissar , which won him the “ Bambi ” television award four times in gold (1970, 1971, 1972 and 1975) and once in silver (1973) brought in. In 1990 he received an honorary Bambi in Leipzig . In 1998, on the occasion of his 50th anniversary as a speaker, he was awarded the "Golden Medal" by Bayerischer Rundfunk.
From 1981 to 1983 Reinhard Glemnitz was on stage in Vienna, West Berlin and Munich with the musical Evita , where he was also able to demonstrate his singing skills in the role of Colonel Perón. In 1996 he played the role of Vandergelder in the musical Hello Dolly in the comedy in the Bayerischer Hof in Munich.
In the dubbing studio he lent a. a. Richard Harris (e.g. in Camelot ), Anthony Perkins (in The Trial , Do You Love Brahms? And The Third Dimension ), Michael Caine (in The Deadly Hive ), Bernard Hill as King Théoden in The Lord of the Rings , Tom Courtenay in The Final Round , Bernard Le Coq in the Chabrol film The Flower of Evil and Christopher Plummer in Insider His Voice. He also spoke to Judd Hirsch , one of his favorite actors, in the series My dear John , George & Leo and in a guest appearance on Caroline in the City . He can be heard in the TV series SeaQuest DSV for Michael Ironside , in Stargate Atlantis he dubbed Mitch Pileggi and in The Agency - In the crosshairs of the CIA Ronny Cox . In the Leconte film The Second Life of Monsieur Manesquier , he lent Jean Rochefort the voice. He speaks Max von Sydow in the series The Tudors . He had a lasting impact on the ZDF Advent classic Der Seewolf through his narrative voice for the protagonist Humphrey van Weyden ( Edward Meeks ).
Reinhard Glemnitz is married to the dancer Lydia Blum and has two daughters. He has lived near the Tegernsee since 1969 .
