Salva Ballesta (actually: Salvador Ballesta Vialco ; born May 22, 1975 in Saragossa ) is a former Spanish football player . The striker's last club station so far was Albacete Balompié .
society
Salva's first professional station was Sevilla FC . Salva gained notoriety when he was the top scorer in the Spanish Primera División with Racing Santander in the 1999/00 season with 27 goals . After this season, he moved to the previously relegated Atlético Madrid , which did not make it back up despite Salva's 21 goals. He then moved to Valencia CF , which became Spanish champions in 2002 . Since he was hardly used in the following season, he was loaned to the Bolton Wanderers , where he did not score in six missions. After two more loan deals with FC Málaga and Atlético Madrid, FC Málaga signed him. With this club he rose again in the first year in the Segunda División . In January 2007 Salva was awarded again for half a year, this time to UD Levante , who just managed to stay in the league.
In the 2007/08 season he played again for Málaga and made it to the top division with this. In his first game of the season 2008/09 he was sent off. He was also repeatedly plagued by injuries, so that he only came to a few missions in the first half of the season. He played his next game on matchday 22, scoring two goals for a 3-2 win over UD Almería . In August 2009, shortly before the end of the transfer window, he signed a one-year contract with Albacete Balompié with an option for another year, which was not withdrawn.
National team
He played four times for the Spanish national team from 2000 to 2004 . He made his debut in a 3-0 win against Poland on January 26, 2000.

Others
Off the pitch, Salva is notorious for its military, nationalist, and ultra-conservative attitudes. He celebrates goals, for example, with the military salute and is sometimes very aggressive towards players who belong to the opposite side of the political camp, such as Oleguer .
