The Silnice I / 37 ( Czech for: "1st class road 37") is a Czech state road (1st class road), which is made up of two differentiated sections.
Northern section
The northern section of the road branches in Jaroměř (Jermer) from the Silnice I / 33 and runs from there in a northerly direction to Trutnov (Trautenau); it ends at Silnice I / 14 . The length of this section is around 27 kilometers.
Southern section
The southern section starts on the Silnice I / 31 ring road in Hradec Králové and leads from there in a southerly direction via Pardubice (Pardubice) and Chrudim , where it crosses the Silnice I / 17 , and Ždírec nad Doubravou (Zdiretz) , where the Silnice I / 34 is crossed, and further in a south-easterly direction via Žďár nad Sázavou (Saar). Here the Silnice crosses I / 19 . The Silnice I / 37 continues its course to Velká Bíteš (Groß Bittesch, 1940 to 1945 Heinrichs) and ends one kilometer behind this town at junction 162 of the Dálnice 1 motorway (also European route 50 and European route 65 ). The length of this section is around 123 kilometers.
history
The course of the road in the northern section corresponds to that of a section of the German Reichsstraße 154 from 1940 to 1945, that of the southern section from Hradec Králové to Ždírec nad Doubravou with that of the Reichsstraße 367 .
The total length of the road is given as around 145 kilometers.
