Zimbabwean cricket team in the West Indies for the 2012-13 season

The Zimbabwean national cricket team's tour of the West Indies in the 2012/13 season took place from February 22nd to March 24th, 2013. The international cricket tour was part of the 2012/13 international cricket season and included two tests , three ODIs and two Twenty20s . West Indies was able to win all games and thus won the test series 2-0, the ODI series 3-0 and the Twenty20 series 2-0.

prehistory

The West Indies previously contested a tour in Australia , for Zimbabwe it was the first tour of the season. The last tour of the two teams against each other took place in the 2009/10 season in the West Indies . It was Zimbabwe's first test tour in a year, having last played against New Zealand in the 2012 season. For financial reasons, Zimbabwe reduced its coaching team for the tour.
