Spanish team championship in chess 1961

The Spanish team championship in chess in 1961 was the fifth edition of this competition. There were eight teams at the start. CA Chardenet Madrid as defending champions and CA Español Barcelona as champions of Catalonia were qualified directly, the remaining starting places were played in qualifying competitions. Real Madrid CF (against CA Tarrasa), CA Don Bosco Madrid (against CC Guipuzcoano San Sebastián), CA Sans (against Casa de la Mancha Madrid), CA Barcelona (against Club Gambito Valencia), Club Palentino (against Ateneo Jovellanos) sat down Gijón) and CM Málaga (v CA Alcoy).
