División de Honor (chess) 2013
The División de Honor 2013 was the 19th season of the División de Honor and at the same time the 57th Spanish team championship in chess . It was held with eight teams, the defending champion Sestao Naturgas Energia XT was again champion with one board point ahead of CA Solvay Torrelavega. Due to the withdrawal of CA Reverté-Albox with Enracha-SCC Sabadell, CE Escola d'Escacs de Barcelona and Ajedrez con Cabeza - VTI Atocha, three teams were promoted from the Primera División. From a purely sporting point of view, Sabadell would have been the only newcomer to be relegated, but since he withdrew his team, CE Escola d'Escacs de Barcelona remained as the best relegated in the class.

mode
The eight participating teams played a simple round-robin tournament . The game was played on six boards, the placement was first determined by the number of team points (two points for a win, one point for a draw, no point for a defeat) and then the number of board points (one point for a win, half a point) for a draw, no point for a loss). The last two were relegated to the Primera División.
Dates and venue
The tournament was played in Linares from September 8th to 14th .
