Spanish team championship in chess 1985

The Spanish team championship in chess in 1985 was the 29th edition of this competition and was held with ten teams. The champions were the team of CE Terrassa, in addition to this also the runner-up UGA Barcelona qualified directly for the finals of the Spanish team championship in 1986. The defending champion CE Vulcà Barcelona had to be content with third place after five titles in a row, this was tied with the Vice-champion UGA Barcelona and only half a deficit on champion CE Terrassa.

The ten participating teams played a simple round-robin tournament , the first two qualified directly for the finals of the Spanish team championship in 1986. The game was played on four boards, the number of board points initially decided on the placement (one point for a win, half a point for one Draw, no point for a loss), then the number of team points (two points for a win, one point for a draw, no point for a loss) and then the direct comparison.
