The Spanish team championship in chess in 1994 was the 38th edition of this competition and was held with 26 teams. The champions were CA Villa de Teror's team, while the defending champions UGA Barcelona had to be content with third place. The last time the competition was held in the Swiss system , in 1995 a league operation with promotion and relegation was introduced.

The 26 participating teams played nine rounds in the Swiss system, the first ten qualified the División de Honor of the Spanish team championship in 1995. The game was played on four boards, the placement was determined by the number of board points (one point for a win, half a point for a draw, no point for a defeat), then the progress scoring (sum of the board points achieved after each round).
