Spanish team championship in chess 1968

The Spanish team championship in chess in 1968 was the twelfth edition of this competition, this was held with twelve teams. The team from CA Schweppes Madrid (which took on as CA Chardenet Madrid until 1967) won by half a point over CE Espanyol Barcelona, ​​while the defending champions CE Barcelona had to be content with fourth place.

The twelve participating teams played a simple round-robin tournament on four boards. The number of points on the board (one point for a win, half a point for a draw, no point for a defeat), then the number of team points (two points for a win, one point for a draw, no point) decided the placement for defeat).
