Spanish team championship in chess 1967

The Spanish team championship in chess in 1967 was the eleventh edition of this competition, this was held with twelve teams. CE Barcelona won just ahead of Real Madrid CF SdA and CA Chardenet Madrid, while the defending champions CE Espanyol Barcelona had to be content with fifth place.

mode

The twelve participating teams played a simple round-robin tournament on four boards. The number of points on the board (one point for a win, half a point for a draw, no point for a defeat), then the number of team points (two points for a win, one point for a draw, no point) decided the placement for defeat).

Dates and venue

The tournament was held in Lanjarón from September 21st to October 1st .
