The 2003/04 UEFA Women's Cup was the third edition of the European championship competition for women's football clubs . In the final, in which Umeå IK met 1. FFC Frankfurt for the second time since 2001/02 , the Swedes clearly prevailed against the German champions with a total of 8-0 goals. The representatives from Switzerland and Austria were eliminated in the first round.

qualification

Twelve national champions were divided into three groups. The group winners reach the preliminary round.

Group 1

Tournament in Novo mesto ( Slovenia ). The Belgian champion SK Lebeke-Aalst decided not to participate.

Preliminary round

The winners of the three qualification groups, the 28 other national champions and the defending champion are divided into eight groups of four teams. One of the four teams in each group acts as the host. The group winners reach the quarter-finals.
