VH1 Europe is a Europe-wide branch of the US broadcaster VH1 . In many European countries, the Middle East and in North and South Africa it can be received on cable TV, satellite TV, DVB-T and via IPTV.

The station started as a European offshoot VH-1 Europe , completely taking over the program of the station VH-1 UK & Ireland . As part of the new logo, the station became VH1 Europe in 1999 . In 2002 the British branch, which was broadcast across Europe, was replaced by its own European branch. Since the end of May 2014, VH1 has also been broadcasting with a new, international logo and in 16: 9 format.

The program from VH1 Europe differs fundamentally from the American original version. While this only broadcasts reality programs and no longer music videos, VH1 Europe only broadcasts music videos without commercial breaks 24 hours a day.
