Vignone is a municipality in the Italian province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola (VB) in the Piedmont region .

geography

The municipality covers an area of ​​3  km² . The Bureglio fraction belongs to the Vignone. The neighboring municipalities are Arizzano , Bee , Cambiasca , Caprezzo , Intragna , Premeno and Verbania .

Attractions

The monumental building of San Martino of Tours, built between the 16th and 18th centuries, includes the parish church (completed in 1615 with an earlier Romanesque church), the ossuary chapel and the octagonal boundary cemetery on which the oratory of Our Lady of the Pain in the center.

In the parish church there is a well-preserved Mascioni organ from 1892 with a manual, two octaves and 28 registers. In the church there are two plaster molds by the Milanese sculptor Alessandro Laforêt (1863–1937) and a cycle of pictures by Enrico Francioli (1814–1886).
