Druogno is a municipality in the Italian province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola (VB) in the Piedmont region .
geography
Druogno is located in the Valle Vigezzo , not far from the border with the Swiss canton of Ticino , where the valley is called Centovalli . The municipality covers an area of 29 km² . The Albogno, Coimo, Gagnone, Orcesco, Sagrogno and Sasseglio fractions belong to Druogno.
The neighboring municipalities are Masera , Santa Maria Maggiore and Trontano .

There are three train stations in the municipality on the Domodossola – Locarno route:
- Druogno train station, located in the center of the village;
- Gagnone-Orcesco train station, located in the village of the same name;
- Coimo train station, located in the countryside near the village of the same name.
Attractions
- Oratory of San Michele Arcangelo in the district of Albogno built in 1696.
- Church of Sant'Ambrogio in the Coimo district with frescoes by the painter Giuseppe Mattia Borgnis (1728).
- Oratory of San Rocco in the Sagrogno district.
- Prayer chapel Santissimo Sacramento in the district of Sasseglio with frescoes by GM Borgnis (1751).
- Oratory of San Defendente in the Gagnone district.
- Oratory of San Carlo Borromeo in the Orcesco district.
- The large summer mountain colony named after Luigi Razza, inaugurated in the 30's and still actively managed by the Consortium of Holiday Homes of the Municipalities of Novara . The east wing of the building was entrusted to the UniversiCà Foundation thanks to a European Interreg Italy-Switzerland project, called Tramevive , and completely dismantled in 2013. It hosts a large multimedia museum exhibition called the Museo UniversiCà .
Culture
In an area of over 2000 square meters in the east wing of Colonia Montana there is a multimedia museum dedicated to the traditions and crafts of the Valle Vigezzo and an area reserved for temporary exhibitions, conferences and exhibitions. There are also workstations here for in-depth consultation of a virtual archive.
