Valle Cannobina is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 478 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola (VB), Piedmont region . The municipality belongs to the Unione di Comuni del Lago Maggiore . The administrative headquarters are in the Lunecco district.

geography

Valle Cannobina is located in the Valle Cannobina valley of the same name and about fifteen kilometers north-northeast of Verbania . The former Strada Statale 631 della Valle Cannobina runs through the municipality .

history

The municipality of Valle Cannobina was formed on January 1, 2019 from the previously independent municipalities of Cavaglio-Spoccia , Cursolo-Orasso and Falmenta .
