Bambi Awards 1951

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 4th Bambi Awards were not an event. The Bambis were brought to the winners.

The prices

In the votes on the categories, two actresses who were supposed to win several more Bambis prevailed for the first time. In the national category, Maria Schell won ahead of last year's winner Sonja Ziemann and Marika Rökk . Internationally, the Bambi went to Ingrid Bergman , who with Jean Simmons also relegated last year's winner to second place. In the category of national actors sat Dieter Borschemich before Rudolf Prack and Johannes Heesters in international actor won Errol Flynn before Tyrone Power and Stewart Granger .

Although there was still no joint award ceremony in 1951, there were certainly opportunities to celebrate the awards together. So were Rudolf Jugert and Dieter Borschemich their Bambis at a ceremony in Göttingen .
