Bambi Awards 1978
The 29th Bambi Awards took place on February 17, 1978 in the Bayerischer Hof in Munich . The prices refer to the year 1977.
The award
For the 30th anniversary of Bambi , Hubert Burda took over responsibility for Bambi from his father Franz . Not quite, though, because he postponed the awarding of the two show star categories to the celebration of his 75th birthday. There he handed over the prizes to Peter Alexander and Baccara himself.
The award of the Bambi to Anwar as-Sadat for his rapprochement with Israel was criticized in the press.
