Bambi Awards 1955

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 7th Bambi award took place on March 6, 1955 in the concert hall in Karlsruhe .

The award

After the success of 1953 , there was also an award ceremony for 1954. This was first held in Karlsruhe in front of hundreds of invited celebrities. The date was postponed by a little more than two months, so that the event took place on March 6, 1955.

The focus was again on the Bambis for acting performances, which were still awarded by a vote by the readers of the film revue . In the national area, Maria Schell (followed by Ruth Leuwerik and Sonja Ziemann ) and OW Fischer (ahead of Rudolf Prack and Adrian Hoven ) prevailed. Jean Marais (before Gregory Peck and Franco Andrei ) and Ingrid Bergman (before Ulla Jacobsson and Audrey Hepburn ) could not attend the award ceremony because they had theater appearances in their home countries.
