Bambi Awards 2009

The 61st Bambi Awards took place on November 26, 2009 in the Metropolis Hall in Potsdam . It was moderated by Katarina Witt and Tom Bartels and broadcast live on ARD .

Five films were nominated for the audience Bambi. Mogadishu , Beyond the Wall , Die Rebellin , Böseckendorf - The night in which a village disappeared and Krupp - A German family were available. Iris Berben was allowed to receive the Bambi for Krupp - A German Family .

Johannes Heesters

As promised, Johannes Heesters received a Bambi in 2009, his eighth. However, that was not seen on the show. He had received his Bambi at his house a few days earlier. A video of this was shot, but it was not shown due to time constraints, as it was called.

20 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall

20 years after the fall of the Wall , German reunification was the topic of the Bambi Awards. Helmut Kohl received the Millennium Bambi as "Chancellor of Reunification".
