The audience Bambi

In 2000, a public Bambi was organized over the Internet for the first time. In the category Best tabloid magazine that stood Sat.1 magazine Blitz , an explosive issue by the ARD , exclusive of RTL , the ZDF telecast of people today and Taff of ProSieben for election. The Bambi went to the show Brisant.

The charity Bambi

The Bambi charity went to Sabriye Tenberken , who, because of her blindness during her studies (Central Asian Studies with a focus on Tibet and Mongolia ), developed Braille for the Tibetan language based on Braille . She later traveled to Tibet and founded the first school for the visually impaired and the blind there. This resulted in the international aid organization Braille Without Borders .

Reviews

Joseph von Werstphalen criticized the event extremely harshly at the time . The award “does not even try to escape the glamor, but unfolds it shamelessly and [...] with a repulsive awkwardness.” He says that Guido Westerwelle's praise to Sabine Christiansen was “woody” and “no longer real satire, but rather a sign of a real loss of reality. ”The only interesting thing is“ the fact that there was open advertising for Burda's magazine empire for hours at prime time. ”And that everyone, Telekom or ARD , took part. This “colorful smear was seen on the perfidious show.” In addition, Hubert Burda reminded him “more and more of Edward G. Robinson in his gangster roles”.
