The 41st Bambi Awards took place on December 14, 1989 in the ARRI cinema in Munich .

The award

An honorary bambi went to the former mayor of Jerusalem , Teddy Kollek , and Heidi Kabel received a bambi for her life's work. The Bambi for the youth program Elf 99 on the television station of the GDR was also perceived as remarkable . At the handover of the Bambi for the television series Lindenstrasse , the entire cast received an award - 45 people. There had never been anything like it at the Bambi Awards. The proceeds from the event went to Rettet den Regenwald , a nature conservation organization .
