Bambi Awards 1987

The 39th Bambi Awards took place on December 10, 1987 in the Oberrheinhalle in Offenburg .

The award

The Bambi award took place for the first time in 1987 in Offenburg, the seat of Burda . For the VIPs who are used to Munich , Burda organized a special train from Munich to Offenburg, in which copies of the Offenburger Tageblatt were distributed free of charge and even a star hairdresser was available.

The honorary bambi went to Ursula Späth , wife of the then Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg Lothar Späth . She was honored for her commitment to the AMSEL association, of which she was the patron at the time. AMSEL is the Baden-Württemberg regional association of the DMSG , which supports people with multiple sclerosis . At the gala, AMSEL received donations of around half a million marks.

For the first time at Bambi awards there was a section called the Jubilee Bambi . For each decade of Bambi history, two stars were selected, each of whom received a Bambi from Désirée Nosbusch . For the 1940s these were Marika Rökk and Johannes Heesters , for the 1950s Maria Schell and OW Fischer , for the 1960s Gina Lollobrigida and Pierre Brice and for the 1970s Mireille Mathieu and Peter Alexander . For the 1980s, Charlene Tilton and Patrick Duffy were chosen as two actors from the Dallas series , for which producer Leonard Katzman was also awarded.
