Bobsleigh World Cup 2008/09

The 2008/09 Bobsleigh World Cup began on November 29, 2008 in Winterberg and ended on February 15, 2009 in Park City, USA . The highlight of the season was the 59th Bobsleigh World Championship from February 16 to March 1, 2009 in Lake Placid .

The season was held in eight World Cup races parallel to the Skeleton World Cup 2008/2009 . For the races that were canceled in Cesana due to heavy snowfall, replacement races were held in St. Moritz and Park City. The races planned in Cortina d'Ampezzo have been moved to Königssee due to technical defects .
