Citroën Type 45
The Citroën Type 45 was produced as a truck and coach between 1933 and 1953. The platform was the same as that of the Citroën Type 29 , but the engine was a newly developed six-cylinder petrol engine with a displacement of 4580 cc and a maximum of 73 hp (54 kW). It was not derived from a car engine. The maximum payload was 5 tons. As a city bus, the vehicle offered space for up to 40 people.
The Type 45 was also used in World War II . During the war and in the post-war period, many also ran on wood gas .
After 72,423 copies, it was replaced by the Citroën Type 55 .
