The Citroen C3-XR is a crossover - SUV of French carmaker Citroen , which since the end of 2014 exclusively for the Chinese market by the Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Automobile joint venture in Wuhan is built. Technically, the vehicle is based on the PF1 - platform of the PSA on Corporation.
history
The vehicle was on the Beijing Auto Show in April 2014 concept car Citroen C-XR Concept presented. The production version made its debut at the Mondial de l'Automobile in October 2014. The crossover SUV has been on sale in China since the end of December 2014. The vehicle is not offered in Europe because the PSA group claims that it is already sufficiently represented in this segment with the Peugeot 2008 and the Citroën C4 Cactus .
Technical specifications
At the market launch, the C3-XR was offered with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 86 kW (117 hp) and a turbo-charged 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 123 kW (167 hp). From February 2016, a supercharged 1.2-liter gasoline engine with 100 kW (136 hp) and three cylinders will also be available. The engine range was revised in March 2019.
