Citroën 350 Belphégor

The Citroën Belphégor (actually Camion 350 to 850 ) was a truck model from Citroën .

Between 1965 and 1972 Citroën produced a small truck for total loads between 3500 and 8000 kg. The vehicle was designed by Flaminio Bertoni , who was also significantly involved in the development of the Citroën Traction Avant , Citroën 2CV (the duck ), Citroën DS (nickname: the goddess ) and Ami 6 models . Citroën used innovative technology and a futuristic design, the most striking detail being the “window panes” above the headlights.

The nickname Belphégor came about because of the unusual design with reference to the then popular TV series Belphégor or the secret of the Louvre .

A successor model was introduced as early as 1970, which was marketed as Citroën-Berliet K due to the takeover of Berliet .
