Electric Car Corporation C1 ev'ie is an electric car based on the Citroën C1 . The internal combustion engine was replaced by an electric motor . It has been offered in the UK by Electric Car Corporation since April 30, 2009 . The price is quoted at £ 16,850.

The body and chassis of the Electric Car Corporation C1 ev'ie essentially correspond to the normal C1. The standard five-speed gearbox is retained, but only the third forward gear can be used and a regenerative brake is also used. The regenerative brake is partially activated when the accelerator pedal is released. So it works like an engine brake , which in the end it is.

Since the batteries are built into the engine compartment instead of the petrol tank, there is no trunk space lost compared to the C1. The range is 97–120 km with 6 hours of battery charging time.

The car is charged at a socket .
