The Citroën C4 Aircross is a crossover - SUV of the French car manufacturer Citroën .
history
The vehicle has been built exclusively for the Chinese market by the Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Automobile Joint Venture in Wuhan since mid-2018 . It is positioned there between the Citroën C3-XR and the Citroën C5 Aircross . Technically, the SUV is based on the Citroën C3 Aircross , which was introduced in Europe at the end of 2017 , but is around 12 centimeters longer in contrast to this and should not be offered outside of China.
The C4 Aircross was presented at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2018. Since September 2018, it has been sold on the Chinese market. The model has little in common with the Citroën C4 Aircross of the same name , which was built between 2012 and 2017 .
Technical specifications
At the market launch, a 100 kW (136 hp) 1.2-liter petrol engine or a 123 kW (167 hp) 1.6-liter petrol engine were available for the SUV . Both drive variants have a turbocharger and front-wheel drive . As with the C3 Aircross, all-wheel drive is not available.
