The Citroën Nemo is a high-roof station wagon from the company Citroën as a car ( Citroën Nemo station wagon ) and small van ( Citroën Nemo ). It was built at Tofaş in Bursa (Turkey), where the identical sister models Peugeot Bipper and Fiat Fiorino III were also manufactured. In addition to the two-seater box van for commercial use with a double-leaf unglazed door at the rear, the Nemo was also offered as a five-seater station wagon with a tailgate and two sliding side doors. The Nemo and its sister models were voted Van of the Year in 2009. In 2015 the production, like that of the Bipper, was stopped. Fiat continues the sister models.

At the market launch, the Nemo was powered by a 1.4 liter diesel engine with 50 kW (68 hp) or a petrol engine with 1.4 liter displacement and 54 kW (73 hp). It reaches a top speed of around 150 km / h. According to the manufacturer, fuel consumption per 100 km is 4.5 liters of diesel or 6.8 liters of premium gasoline. The diesel engine is not equipped with a soot particle filter as standard. The engines emit 119 g / km (diesel engine) and 164 g / km (gasoline engine) CO 2 . Both engines receive the green particulate matter sticker .

As of September 2010, there was only a 1.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine from 1248 cc liter capacity 55 kW (75 hp) at 4000 min -1 mobilized. This engine has a torque of 190 Nm at 1750 min -1 . The top speed is 155 km / h. In conjunction with a 5-speed manual transmission , the Nemo consumes 4.3 liters of diesel fuel per 100 km with CO 2 emissions of 113 g / km. From 2011 the Nemo was also available with a start-stop system and cruise control .

Furnishing

The panel van with a payload of 610 kg and 2.5 m³ of cargo space is primarily designed for commercial use in the city, whereby the passenger seat can be folded down to increase the cargo volume. There are lots of storage compartments. The height of the steering column and driver's seat can be adjusted; the steering column is also within reach. Side sliding doors, additional glazing on the rear door and side, passenger airbag, air conditioning, electrical package (electrical windows, central locking, exterior mirrors with electrical actuation and heating) and a CD radio with Bluetooth hands- free system were available at an additional cost. Particularly noteworthy is the (optional) fully retractable passenger seat Extenso , which extends the load space to 2.55 meters. The trailer load (unbraked / braked) is 400/600 kg. The “Pack Chantier” bad road package (only for panel vans without sliding doors) includes, among other things, reinforced suspension with increased ground clearance, 15-inch wheels, an engine mudguard and widened side bumper strips.

The five-seat station wagon with a maximum payload of 435 kg has opening windows in the sliding side doors. Electric windows at the front, exterior mirrors with electric actuation and heating, central locking with radio remote control and on-board computer are standard. Individual optional extras were only available in equipment packages: a manually controlled air conditioning system was only available together with a CD radio in the audio air conditioning package .
