The Citroën C6 is a car model from Citroën . It was first presented at the Paris Salon in October 1928 and was the first Citroën vehicle with a six-cylinder engine . The engine had a displacement of 2442 cm² and developed 45 hp (33 kW). The C6 was based on the Citroën C4 , which was only built with four-cylinder engines. The C6 should reach a wealthier clientele.

In terms of design, it differed from the C4 in that it had a longer bonnet and the tank attached to the rear. It was also longer and taller than the C4.

The C6 was available in eleven different body styles (five open and six closed). The main competitor was the Renault Vivasix .

The maximum speed of the sedan was given as 105 km / h. A special C6 was given to Pope Pius XI in 1930 . handed over by the Italian subsidiary of Citroën. André Citroën's group "China" took part in the Yellow Cruise from April 1931 to March 1932 with a C6 equipped with a track .
