The German Three Cushion Championship 1984/85 (DDM) was the 51st edition of this tournament series and took place on October 13, 1984 in Gelsenkirchen .

history

The local organizer and host on behalf of the German Billiard Association (DBB) was BC Feldmark 34 Gelsenkirchen. The Schürenkamp sports center was again used as the venue, and its premises were able to provide the appropriate equipment.

For the eighth time, Berlin’s Dieter Müller won the German three-cushion championship. In neither of his two tournament games, he came in dire straits. Günter Schüssler from Düsseldorf won his first medal at a German championship with second place. Third, Johann Waiz from Munich made it onto the podium for the second time.

The games were played in the qualification groups up to 50 points or 75 shots. In the final round, up to 50 points were played with no admission limit. The entire tournament was played with a push . The final placement was based on the following criteria:
