Dodge Brisa

The Dodge Brisa is a car model of the Dodge brand and was produced by MMC Automotriz SA in Caracas , Venezuela from 2002 to 2009 . Sister models were the Hyundai Accent X3 and from 2006 the Hyundai Click . The vehicles are not identical to the units produced in South Korea. The Dodge Forza is to be regarded as the successor .

1st generation

With the introduction of the Dodge Brisa in 2002, the vehicle was a sister model of the Hyundai Accent X3 . The Brisa was offered as a three- and five-door station wagon and as a three-door station wagon coupé . Due to poor sales figures, production of the coupé was stopped in 2004.
The first generation Brisa was powered by a 4-cylinder gasoline engine (12-valve) with 82 HP and a displacement of 1341 cm³. The coupé version was even available ex works with Nitrious Express nitrous oxide injection . The curb weight of the vehicles was 942 to 1410 kg.

2nd generation

With decreasing interest in the outdated first generation, the 2006 model was reissued as a sister model to the Hyundai Click . With the modernized design, Dodge promised to appeal to a younger group of customers. The second generation Brisa was powered by a 4-cylinder gasoline engine (12-valve) with a displacement of around 1.3 liters and an output of 81.5 hp. The curb weight was 992 kg. In the summer of 2009, production of the Dodge Brisa was discontinued without a successor.
