The car had a side-controlled 6-cylinder in-line engine with 3299 cm³, the bore of which had been reduced by 1/8 ″ compared to that of the predecessor. It gave an output of 75 bhp (55 kW) 3400 rpm. from. A more powerful variant with 81 bhp (60 kW) was also available on request. The rear wheels were driven via a single-disc dry clutch and a three-speed gearbox with center shift. The wheelbase of the chassis was reduced to 2826 mm. Two 2-door sedans, two 4-door sedans (each as a normal version and “Salon Bougham”), two 2-door coupés with 2 or 4 seats and a 2-door convertible were offered as bodies. In addition, the DP was also available as a chassis with all mechanical components for customers who wanted to commission a body shop themselves.

From April 1933 the wheelbase was extended to 2,921 mm and the 4-door saloon Brougham sedan was discontinued.

In January 1934, the Special DS series and Deluxe DR series models replaced the DP. In June 1934 the standard DRXX series was added.
