The Dodge DL series was a passenger car made by Dodge in Detroit , which was presented as the successor to the DH series in January 1932.

The car had a side-controlled 6-cylinder in-line engine with 3569 cm³, the stroke of which had been lengthened by 1/8 "compared to that of its predecessor. It delivered an output of 79 bhp (58 kW) 3,400 / min. The rear wheels were driven by a dry clutch and a three-speed gearbox with center shift. Instead, a semi-automatic was also available on request, in which a vacuum-actuated clutch was automatically activated when changing gear. The wheelbase of the chassis grew to 2908 mm. A 4-door sedan, three 2-door coupés with 2 or 4 seats and two 2-door convertibles (on a coupé and sedan basis) were offered. In addition, the DL was also available as a chassis with all mechanical components for customers who wanted to commission a body shop themselves.

In November 1932 the DP series replaced the DL.
