Dodge caravan
The Dodge Caravan is the Dodge version of the Chrysler Voyager known in Europe and belongs to the Van type of automobile .
It was introduced in North America in the summer of 1984 as a sister model of the Plymouth Voyager . The fifth generation of the model has been available since the beginning of 2008.
It differs from the Plymouth Voyager in that it has a different radiator grille and, as a rule, a lower price and less luxurious equipment. The Dodge models of the first three generations look the same as the European Chrysler Voyager . The radiator grille is also identical, they can only be visually distinguished by the lettering. Analogous to the Chrysler Grand Voyager , an extended version of the Dodge Caravan is also offered under the name Dodge Grand Caravan .
In the Dodge model range for 2013, however, only the Dodge Grand Caravan is listed. The Dodge Caravan / Grand Caravan is not officially sold in Europe, but some vehicles were imported into Europe via free importers or US soldiers stationed in Europe who brought their vehicles with them.
A rough overview of the other brands under which this vehicle is sold can be found in the article Chrysler Voyager .
