GermanyHSV Hamburg - Ademar León Spain28:24 (14:12)

April 22, 2007 in Hamburg , Color Line Arena , 8,800 spectators.

The hosts got off to a lightning start and led quickly, but in the period that followed they got themselves into trouble again and again through numerous hastily completed attacks. In addition, the former Spanish champion combined very fluently. HSV owed its goalkeeper Per Sandström, who among other things kept three seven meters, to the fact that it was enough to win.

April 29, 2007 in León , Palacio Municipal, 6,000 spectators, [match report]

León quickly took the lead with three goals, but led by strong Torsten Jansen, Hamburg fought back. Until the break, however, the technical errors accumulated and the hosts pulled away again. The last ten minutes were just a fight for both teams, and HSV ultimately had the better end for themselves when the outstanding Kyung-Shin Yoon created the four-goal lead just seconds before the final siren.
