Eye for Eye is a German television film by Martin Weinhart from 1998. It is the 8th episode of the crime series A strong team with Maja Maranow and Florian Martens in the leading roles.

action

In Berlin, rival groups of the Vietnamese cigarette mafia fought bitterly, which have already claimed more than 80 lives. After the murder of two other men who were brutally stabbed to death in a prefabricated apartment in front of their family, Chief Detective Otto Garber and his colleague Verena Berthold are supposed to support the investigating colleagues of the criminal police. Suspects already known to the police are the freight forwarder Rainer Krause and the Vietnamese Tschang. Krause brings the goods into the country and Tschang distributes them to dealers. Garber and Berthold are supposed to determine who was behind Krause's. Through targeted observation, they track down the entrepreneur Sven Habicht, who, as the mastermind, controls the business in the background. He is bourgeois as a large investor who maintains the best relationships with building department head Harry Greizke, not least through copious amounts of bribes. Tschang has set itself the goal of controlling smuggling alone in the future. He first removes Krause and then has Habicht kidnapped. After brainwashing Habicht, he lets go of the distraught man who is now a psychiatric case. After a large-scale SEK mission, Tschan's smuggling ring was smashed. He himself commits suicide.
